Use the tumblers individually or stack them and watch the water run through all three at once. Swiveling arm holds the tumblers and can be placed directly under the stream or pushed off to the side. My 10 month old likes high stimulus, so she seems to get bored with her toys quickly and doesn’t think much of toys that don’t DO something. This piano has a lot going on and so far it’s been enough to keep her entertained better than any other toy.

Primarily I like its design. The ‘composer’ function doesn’t just play one song quickly, repeatedly and loudly as most piano toys with some kind of ‘demo’ function do. When the baby hits a key, it plays one phrase. The next time a key is pressed gets another musical phrase. It’s pleasant to listen to, you aren’t left with one short tune running through your head and there’s seven different melodies. In short, it seems like someone put some thought into what would make a piano toy fun and interesting to play with. It doesn’t feel like it’s been dumbed down on the assumption that parents don’t care and babies don’t know the difference.

This is a great interactive toy for babies who love music…..Especially when they are learning to sit up on their own and good for tummy time too. It lights up and has 3 different play modes, sounds, and languages. It’s not too loud, holds thier attention span, teaches them to push the buttons to get it to play, and is small so it can go to Grandma’s for a weekend. My son loves the little spinner with the beads too. One thing you should know is, if your child is strong or plays rough and is active as mine,(he is only 7 months old and a big boy!) the piano is hard plastic with some weight to it and well, you get the idea!

This toy is great from a parent’s point-of-view. The music is actually pretty sounding and minimally repetitive. A total of nine different settings (3 modes X 3 instruments) means you can avoid hearing the same things over and over again. And has 2 volume settings too. But my daughter has simply never been very interested in it. She does enjoy the spinning bead thing on top, but that’s about it. If she’s in the right mood she may bang on it a little bit and when she was younger (~4 months) she liked to watch the lights but for the most part she ignores everything but the spinner. I thought maybe she’d grow into it but we’ve had it for four months now and she still is not into it. She does not seem particularly impressed with musical toys in general though, so a more musical baby may love it.

I bought this because I had no other real toys for my 5 mos. old. He loved kicking the keys at first, now it has helped him sit up so he can use his hands. I did have to put the toy up onto the tray of his little seat so it would be at hand level, but once he is sitting up better, this may not be the case. I would definitely recommend this toy if you are wondering what to buy your “transitional” baby who is between 4 and 6 mos. old and not quite sitting up unsupported yet.

My 8 month old likes this toy. It keeps him entertained enough while I’m busy. It’s the perfect size as it’s not too big to put on table in front of him or to tote around. The keys are the perfect size for his little hands. And I like this toy for me because the classical music is nice to listen to and not annoying at all when my baby boy is playing with it.

If your children enjoy playing with running water, this toy is a great alternative to continually running the faucet. It seems to be well made and has functioned well for the months that I have had it.

I purchased this toy for my 2 year old, but my five and seven year olds play with it, too. I have been known to stick a cranky kid in the tub to play with this toy for an hour or so- a break for me and an attitude changer for the child!

I am purchasing a few of these for Christmas presents this year!

My kids love love loved this but in less than a month it just stopped working. I called the company international playthings and they basically said “not our problem”. I have never had such bad customer service with a toy company. They said any problem I had would have to be dealt with through the toy store where I purchased it. I love this product but knowing what I know now I would not recommend it or any international playthings toy as they do not stand behind there merchandise.

I love this product. It keeps my daughter (18-mos) entertained and away from the faucet. We bought one when she was 12-mos and were equally happy with it until it just stopped one day. It was running every night for nearly 6 mos. and we rarely took it out after her bath. That said I recommend taking it out of the tub when the child is not using it as it gets easily bumped when adults are showering and the pump is so quiet it could dry run all day without you knowing it. I think this was at the root of our first motor burn out so hopefully #2 will last longer. Just remember that this is a toy-grade pump and it will burn out eventually. We have replaced it with another and the fun keeps flowing.

This toy was a WONDERFUL purchase. My two-year-old little boy would cry every time we turned off the big faucet b/c he loved having the water running. Now he can’t wait to get into the tub and use his own faucet. He loves having the power to turn it on and off and the little cups entertain him for a few moments every time. If your child loves running water this is a MUST have. I love that it doesn’t waste water and that it makes bath time more pleasant.

I should have purchased this a long time ago. My 2 year old loves playing with this toy. She has a whole bag full of other toys and now that she has this, it is the only one she plays with. She would be so upset when I would have to turn off the running water so now this can occupy her for the whole bath. This will be my new gift to give for small childrens’ birthdays. Love it.
