A report by VRT-correspondent Tom Van de Weghe about the milk scandal in China. Harmful melamime was used to enrich the milk, but at least four babies died already.

Bode has fun playing “where is Mommy?”… Lots of people ask about the “rash” on his cheek at 0:28 seconds. It’s just a birthmark. It was diagnosed as a hemangioma which is very common and doesn’t hurt him, it is already going away – it is supposed to completely disappear over time. I couldn’t ask for a happier baby, thanks for all the nice comments!

Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter announced his opposition to amendment 48 which would define a person as one from the moment of conception. His announcement came at a rally held by the “NO on 48″ campaign – dedicated to defeating amendment 48 – on the west steps of the state capital amidst protests from nearby prolifers. Gov. Ritter, although surrounded by fellow pro-aborts, was clearly shaken by the small band of pro-life protesters. Ultimately, one protester was arrested for his peaceful protest of the event by an out-of-control, undercover state trooper. The plain-clothes trooper didn’t identify himself as such until the very moment of arrest. Hypocrisy at its finest: when a trooper does exactly what he didn’t want the pro-lifers to do.

my baby said he’s hungry
he wants a peachy cake
with hot and steamy cherries
and a vanilla shake

but all my fruits are bitter
they’re either crude or rotten
and i’ve also forgotten
the recipes i once knew

now all i have to offer
is a piece of chunky meat
with some hard bones to suck on
so at least he’d have something to eat

my baby went all angry
and said that he’s grossed out
because he’s vegetarian
he stated very proud
