Peter and Daisy’s baby Syrian Hamsters at 18 days old. Seven of them were born on the 29th April 2010 and it was Daisy’s first litter of pups. They are all doing very well at the moment despite the fact that three of them are deformed in some way – we don’t quite know how or why. One has his toes missing on one foot, another a complete foot missing and the runt of the litter has a whole leg missing, although he is using his tail to compensate and overcome this handicap. Still, you can’t see any of this in the film and as I said, they are all extremely happy and doing very well.
