Baby is tiny. Baby is cute and feisty. And Baby is very special to many people. Weighing just over 3 lbs, this little girl was born deformed, her back legs were crossed. A family brought her to a clinic and told their vet the infamous quote, “if you can’t fix this (deformation), we don’t want her, put her down.” Looking at this tiny adorable crossed leg kitten, the vet knew he couldn’t fix her but he also did not have a heart to put her down. Instead, the vet called Best Friends. Baby is going to be 8 years old this June. She is now fighting with anemia but she’s having so much appetite lately, I’m wondering if she’s eating more than her weight! You dont plan things at all, Upenyu decided to make any appearance just after christmas on 28/12/08 weighting 600g without warning. We were expecting him on the 20th of April 2009 but he had his own game plan. surely he was a born survivor & a miracle baby too. He went through what every parent would fear & dread about hospitals, infections, human error etc & came out fighting strong. Our baby’s first 2 Mos. in hospital NICU, fighting for her life. It was a brutally horrifying first few weeks, and I’m convinced that my loving/humorous/uplifting attitude helped save her life. I had those around me laughing in the most intense moments of my life. A few nurses thought I was crazy(I am), but when we left that hospital with a %100 healthy baby, most Doctors and nurses said the unit needed more parents like me. Looking back it made us stronger folks for sure! For you, my precious, strong and beautiful Hannah. So GOOD NEWS!!! After many times courting, the female betta finally layed her eggs, she layed close to 200 eggs and bred around 10 times with the male betta. LOL. So far the male had been guarding his nest and I have removed the female betta out because she might eat them. I have bought some frozen brine shrimps for the babies to eat when they hatch. The baby’s called “fry’s” will hatched in around 24-48 hours (2) days so be on the look out for day 5 and 6.
