We all loved Teddy. After a fight with a Coyote his health deteriorated. So in the early hours of Tuesday May 9th 2006 he was put to sleep. These are some pictures that I managed to take that night.

Another song from the Seventh and Trade CD. Again video is VERY simple, just the CD cover art and the song. What have you done with today? Where did you whileit away? Out with the tomcats Sprawled on their fatbacks Digesting the catch of the day Where did you mess up your fur? And I don’t like your braggartish purr Your cool cat lazy Is driving me crazy And your sweet talk is so amateur Doormat, fat cat, calling, calling Full moon, fighting, babies bawling I don’t mean to be cramping your style Just come home to me once in a while Tell me a story of fish heads and glory I’m missing your cheshire cat smile What have you done with today… Well I’m known for taking in strays Determined on mending their ways Once they’re back on their feet They slink out to the street Making up for them clean living days They say love’s a lost cause You’ve been hooked by the alley cat claws But a warm bed awaits you and tries not to hate you As you live by the howling moon laws And what….

SMA – Spinal Muscular Atrophy – kills more babies than any other genetic disease. SMA is currently a death sentence. But, there is enormous HOPE! Research is on the brink of a cure, but in desperate need of funding. We started the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation (GSF) to fight alongside our daughter, Gwendolyn, in her battle with SMA. GSF focuses on raising awareness of SMA and funding research accelerating towards that cure. In December 2009, our supporters voted us one of the top 100 charities of more than 500000 organizations in the Chase Community Giving campaign on Facebook. We received 000 from Chase, 100% of which is already in the hands of researchers for a promising SMA program at UC Irvine, and have moved on to the final round with a chance to win Million. We are fighting to end this disease and Million will have an immediate and direct impact on making a cure attainable — to save Gwendolyn, to save all children battling SMA, and to ensure no future babies are stolen by this cruel disease. If we’re fortunate enough to win the Million we’ve pledged to give 100% – every-single-penny – to SMA awareness and cure focused research programs. Million will help cure this disease forever and your simple, FREE vote through Facebook moves us one step closer to that miracle. Vote today and be part of it! Visit GwendolynStrongFoundation.org for more information…

“You arrived on March 26, 2002. You weighed a whopping 9 pounds and were a very content little baby. What we remember most about your birth was listening to you moan in the hospital. You rarely cried but would just sit and moan contentedly. It was a beautiful sound. You were welcomed into the world by a loving brother Max, who was delighted to have a friend. Although we had a few other names on our list of what to name you, Mara seemed the perfect fit because of its meaning. The Greek form of the word Mara means Eternally Beautiful. We knew the minute we saw you that it was the perfect name for our beautiful princess. Then theres your middle name. Its a tradition in our family to give our children a family name as their middle name. Your Aunt Allison was an inspiration to us after fighting with such courage through her diagnosis of a brain tumor. Little did we know that you would need Allisons strength so desperately. Mara Allison Adams was the perfect name for you. As you learned to walk and take your first steps, your friendship with Max blossomed. You would follow him around and copy the things he said. One time after Natalie was born and you were not quite two, I was sitting downstairs holding little Natalie. I was just listening to you count the stairs. I knew you could count to 5 because Id heard it many times but as I listened, I heard you count to 17. No doubt you learned this from your big brother. You really paid attention to him. You were always a nurturer. You …

Exodus 2 (New International Version) Exodus 2 The Birth of Moses 1 Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him. 5 Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it. 6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said. 7 Then his sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?” 8 “Yes, go,” she answered. And the girl went and got the baby’s mother. 9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him. 10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, [a] saying, “I drew him out of the water.” Moses Flees to Midian 11 One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. 12 Glancing …
