Our three month old son has loved this swing since he came home from the hospital. He can work himself into a loud fuss that no food, rocking, diaper changes, temperature changes, etc. can calm, then quickly calm himself to sleep after being placed in the swing for a few short minutes.
In regards to the earlier review, our swing does vary significantly in speed and rate of swing from lowest to highest settings.
One note of caution: during assembly of the swing body, it is easy to over-tighten the screws. In an attempt to ensure that the seat was securely assembled, I tightened a screw completely thorough one of the interlocking plastic seat pieces.

I love almost everything about this swing. It does it all! No need for a bouncy and a swing. Plus very easily moved around the house from room to room.

This swing is great. My daughter loves it. I kind of agree with the negative of the previous review. The swing has 5 speeds, but I pretty much only see 3 – slow, medium, and fast – which is definately enough for us. The music is wonderful and while I can’t speak for the Precious Planet, the Ocean Wonders uses traditional classical baby music with the sound of bubbles popping every once in awhile. It’s great. The vibrations are a huge bonus as well and I like how easy to move it is depending on which room of the house I’m in.

I like this swing. I like the flexibility to swing or vibrate. It’s small and doesn’t take up much space at all. It does make a bit of noise, but a lot of them seem to. It’s not bad at all. My only complaint would be that there really isn’t hardly any difference in the speeds on the swing. I can go straight from the slowest to the fastest and not notice any difference. So far battery life has been good, but I’ve only been really using it for the last couple of days. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.
