Our 11 month old son loves this wagon and so do I. He has no problem at all pushing it on carpet and he’s banged this wagon into my white wood moldings over a hundred times and it still hasn’t left a mark and the wheels don’t scratch or leave marks on wood floors either. I wonder if the last reviewer got a different wagon or maybe their child just isn’t ready for it because I can’t find anything wrong with mine. It’s true that it’s heavy but that’s because it’s solid wood and well-made and because of that it won’t tip over on your child when they pull up on it. If you want a light weight cheaply made wagon that will tip over and hurt your child buy one made in China. You’ll get your moneys worth with this wagon, you’ll be able to pass this down to other children. Plus there are no small parts that could break off (the Radio Flyer wagon that’s MADE IN CHINA has small plastic parts that many reviewers have said break off [Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon]) or lead paint (All lead paint recalls have been on China made products) on this wagon that could harm your child. Don’t waste your money on plastic poisonious garbage buy this wagon and you won’t regret it!

We love the simplicity of this extremely well-made walker with its sleek, easy-on-the-eyes design. When we were looking for the right walker for our son, we did not need one that would teach him the alphabet in Spanish, set his around-the-house jaunts to a soundtrack of electronic music, or offer shape sorting and bead maze capabilities. When our son sees this walker, he gets excited because he knows exactly what it is for–providing a fun way to move and explore, while offering his little toy companions a ride, as well. The simple design of this walker also will make it conducive to pretend play as our son gets older. I can’t say enough about the quality of this product. It is extremely safe and sturdy, and yet, our son has never had trouble pushing it over carpet. It is worth the price you will pay, and it will last for years.

The Haba Walker Wagon is great for babies learning to walk and beyond. It’s front heavy so it wont tip over when your child pulls up. It pushes along easily without getting ahead of the child. There seems to be the perfect amount of tension in the wheels. It’s still my daughters favorite toy at 17 months. She pushes her dolls and stuffed animals around in the front and loads the back with mail! I highly recommend it!

Great walker. Wanted a simple walker that did not require batteries or had a bunch of activities on it. We already have plenty of toys, so we just needed something sturdy to teach our 11 months old how to walk. He loves the walker and climbs all over it every day. It is very sturdy, he can pull himself up on the handle from the floor without it tipping over. Unfortunately he climbs onto the seat standing up and holding on to the handle but hasn’t fallen over as the walker is well balanced. The only slight drawback is that it doesn’t turn easily so I have to supervise and help him when he reaches an obstacle. Some reviewers wrote that the wheels squeak, and they do a little. It comes from the friction of the axels on the wood, but nothing bad that would prevent me from buying again if faced with the choice.
The price is a little high compared to all the plastic varietys on the market, but the nice thing is that the walker can be used as a “wagon” long beyond him being able to walk. In fact our 4 year old is also loving it and pushing the little one around in it. Shipping was swift and the walker came fully assembled except the handle was folded forward for shipping so it had to be pushed back and top screw tightened. It took about 5 minutes (wich included getting the wrench). Ultimately I based my decision for buying the Haba walker over other wood products on my prior experiences with toys from this company. They are safe (paint, construction) and always very well made.

I bought this for my 11 month old daughter to encourage her to begin walking. However, my three year old son likes to put her in the seat and wheel her around the entire house! This has to be one of the best walker products on the market -it is durable, sturdy, stylish, and made of wood. I know this walker will last forever because my son uses it a lot more than my daughter does -my son is pretty tough on toys. When my daughter does get a chance to use it -she loves walking behind it all over the house! Highly recommend this product -way to go HABA!!
