Human Calculator in training – the math baby genius, part 1
We are two weeks into our math program, and here we record Anthony’s first “test”. He actually knows the true number of dots without counting. It is a special kind of right-brain training originally invented by Glenn Doman. Keep watching for more videos coming. We are making a documentary of “The training of a baby math genius.”

@AlzSings lol the word limit! i hate it! i could go on about the way my keys dont work but there are ways to compensate for that lol but the 400 character limit gets me every time and its usually only then that people say something. also the fact that i dont look at the screen when im typing, therefore am subject to pressing extra keys lol
AlzSings
@gensexercises And yet your grammar and punctuation are atrocious. What happened?

this is cool and ppl dont b sos sceptical k i could say alphabet backwards before i was 1 year old and i can still remember the exact pictures on that alphabet poster and after my first year of school thye put me with the last year kds. i also gave upo my baby bottle after my um showed me one pic of a sad baby and asked if i could give it to the poor baby i said yes and never asked for it again proving kids can show empathy before 4 years lol i was less than two!

@prrsnikety So what are you dipshit? A god?
cancelbywednesday
Hahaha why are people always so critical and negative?! Man, it’s sad!
DeathBringer9000
parents should stop treating their children like trophies
suh1289
this should be counted as child abuse… its not fair to the child to be exposed to this vile subject…

You can’t compare people with dogs beacous dogs don’t destroy ther world with atomick wars and capitalistc industry. In fackt people are worse than dogs beacous dogs don’t have monny.
prrsnikety
because children are dogs, that eventually learn to speak. Positive reinforcement works on people just as much as dogs.
Look at the MMO industry. making millions on treating people like dogs. New shiny epic for you! now pay us! people are so predictable.

Glenn Doman has worked with brain injured children to conclude that there’ s an optimum time for brains to learn therefore grow particular neuron pathways into super highways. Realising this Doman applies it to non brain damaged children with this kind of result.
It makes sense that we can firstly understand the number grouping of objects rather than the figurative symbol for the number of objects.
That is better to understand that * * * * * is five before understanding the symbol for 5.

That kid is not a genius, just a random baby that can memorize stuff.
As any other regular baby.
adi4show
whats up with treating him like a dog and giving him a chocolate at the beginning
BKKyan
children at such age should be let running around and have fun. come on.. that kid doesn’t look like he can even walk properly.

I’d be interested to see the cards presented in a way that eliminates or at least minimizes the opportunity for the parent to give conscious or unconscious cues.
herbienbrian
all you did was repeat that over and over again till he pointed to the right side each time, I bet if you switched the car around he’d still get it wrong.

My 5 year old has officially started algebra as of last wee. What a dynamic individual he is. Go Home schoolers!

babies can do math as young as 6 months old- harvard has done a study on it. any kid can do it- unless defects hinder.

Looks like the Clever Hans Effect is indeed the most plausible explanation. It is critically important that parents who are interested in offering a real educational advantage to their kids educate themselves on these kinds of scam programs, as well as the dangers of delusional thinking.
HConstantine
Clever Hans there is following non-verbal cues from his mother than the camera doesn’t see (eye movement perhaps). She needs to see a psychiatrist to tell why she needs to deceive herself in this way.

there’s actually a procedure where you blurt out an equation and the child will be able to compute it, and then point to the correct cards.. eventually as they grow older and the calculation exceeds 100.. they will verbally respond the answer..
after the red cards, then they move on to different types of variety of cards.. like u mention.. this is just the beginning of the program
kayoresa
any child can do this actually.. u just have to get the card, and teach them young, you can get those cards.. i think these are glen doman cards.. i have shichida cards..
artymowycz
people with autism are able to do this too, but this one doesnt seem to have autism. he is one in a billion
