Macarthur’s Park-Jimmy Webb Piano Cover Credits To: Apple Garcia This is a Piano Cover of The Musical Genius’ Jimmy Webb’s Masterpiece.,MacArthur’s Park:). yea,i know that it is soo not perfect.,i still made mistakes here and there,but hey,won’t matter.,as always,it’s for my Dad:)♥. Trivia: The late Richard Harris who played the role of Dumbledore in Harry Potter sang this song,cause by then,everyone turned it down,originally composed as part of an intended cantata,it was initially rejected.,nobody wanted to have the song,cause everybody thought it had the “MOST” ridiculous lyric ever.until Jimmy Webb gave it to his drinking buddy.guess who?it was. “RICHARD HARRIS:)”.he didn’t really want to give it to him,saying”no,you wouldn’t want to have that one,pick another one,everybody has turned it down”,but then Richard Harris started insisting, telling him “No,i want this one”,and ’til now,nobody ever figured the true meaning behind the song,but then again it unquestionably became one of the world’s best song of it’s era:).
