Funny kids – Break Dancing Baby

Jason (lion head) and Darren (lion tail) proudly dance the club’s baby lion in their first solo show to unveil the club’s official 70th anniversary scroll much to the delight of the invited guests (Nov 28, 2009). As their Dai Si-Hing, I am extremely proud to have taught them their lion dancing skills and to have also played the drums for them that evening. It is unfortunate though that right when the camera fell over, it was where Jason and Darren did a great lion roll and pose to the audience! The senior members and I all wish them the best as they continue to further their knowledge of lion dance in the future and to carry on Hon Hsing’s famous lion dancing legacy begun in 1939.
