Memorial to seven Czechoslovak paratroopers, including Jan Kubis and Josef Gabcik, who where instrumental in the crucial assassination of Nazi Reichprotektor Reinhard Heydrich in 1942. After the assassination the paratroopers spent several weeks in this church hiding out from Nazi units who also burnt down the villages of Lidice and Lezaky under the pretext of its inhabitants’ cooperation with the paratroopers. They either committed suicide or were killed in the fight.

Where’s the bail-out for working men and women in this country? The real criminals wear suits and ties and bribe crooked politicians to get them out of the mess they created.
